1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent from every government office. It does not store official criminal files, retrieve records, perform an official check, or submit paperwork for a visitor.

Its function is to identify custodians and public routes, including the Hickory County Sheriff, Missouri Circuit Court, Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and Missouri Sex Offender Registry, along with optional outside search tools. Missouri's Sunshine Law in Chapter 610 and criminal-history dissemination rule in section 43.506 RSMo govern official records independently of these terms.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Every user agrees not to:

• Use the website in violation of federal, Missouri, or local law
• Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten another person with information found here
• Use site content for lending, employment, insurance, housing, or another FCRA-regulated decision
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any site system
• Send bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against these pages
• Interfere with performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. The Missouri Sex Offender Registry expressly warns against harassment and using its information to facilitate a crime. Registry data supports public safety awareness, not confrontation or vigilante action. Generally applicable criminal and civil laws still govern a user's conduct.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and create no consumer, credit, or background reports. Our site and advertising partners do not provide tools for regulated eligibility decisions. A user must not rely on site or linked data to:

• Set insurance terms or assess creditworthiness
• Make an employment decision
• Evaluate a rental or housing application
• Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A legally permitted check for a regulated purpose must come through an authorized official process or an FCRA-compliant consumer reporting agency.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Hickory County charge, conviction, warrant, or Missouri expungement rule affects a specific person. Consult a licensed Missouri attorney for that analysis.

All content and functions are supplied "as is." No promise is made that:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use of this website, its content, or a linked service.

A user agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, and actions caused by that user's conduct or breach of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Missouri law governs these terms, including applicable principles under the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act, Chapter 407. Any dispute tied to site use must be filed in a court located in Missouri.
